BRINGING RENEWAL TO LAO COMMUNITIES
Transformation was birthed to address the methamphetamine epidemic in Laos. Join a global community of monthly donors to expand our impact to address mental health, community development, and economic stabilization in the region.
Transformation has three rehabilitation facilities in the Prefecture of Vientiane – Nasorn Men’s Center, Oudomphone Women and Children’s Center and Phonthong Half-way House. The crux of what we do is drug rehabilitation. We do this by providing a loving environment with healthy boundaries.
WHAT WE DO
Complex problems require comprehensive solutions. Since it takes a village to raise a person, solving individual problems requires the involvement of the whole network of relationships. When villages prosper, their people thrive. Individual and community health is our goal since they are both intertwined.
Life skills, work skills, relational skills, physical education, vocational training, English, computer skills, business skills, and entrepreneurship are just some of the building blocks we are using to reconstruct our students’ lives.
Not just self-sustainability but flourishing businesses initiated through the unique visions and vocations of our students that are able to provide jobs and prosperity is the goal of our small business enterprise.
