TRANSFORMATION LAOS
We call our organization “Transformation,” referencing the beautiful life change that occurs when a caterpillar becomes a butterfly. Our vision and values reflect the desire to help people become the beautiful, healthy self that they are intended to be. Our official name under Lao government is Transformation Center, Lao PDR (TCL). TCL is incorporated as a non-profit in the United States under the laws of Florida as Transformation International Corporation.
In Laos , TCL’s authorization comes from the Lao National Commission for Drug Control and Supervision (LCDC): to be a recovery and vocational training center. TCL is also a member of Global Teen Challenge, helping Transformation offer a high level of care, backed by professional experience.
Our goal is to serve the people of Laos, especially the poor and marginalized, empowering them to thrive. The heart to serve in this way grows organically from our 4 core values.
